Licentiate Acupuncturist and a member of the British acupuncture Council. I Trained in Western Acupuncture and a member of the Acupuncture Association of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.

Trained in Trigger point Acupuncture, which can be very helpful in sports injuries and arthritic conditions. With qualifications in Intra muscular stimulation and an IMS Diplomat of ‘’Orthopaedic Medicine’’ offered by Cyriax Organisation in 1989.

Also holding an Advanced certificate in Sports Physiotherapy, run by Crew and Algaer College of Higher education. And have also done Part 1 course of ‘’Sarah Key’’ method, in treating back problems.

Jonathan Kanakam Qualified as a physiotherapist in 1973, with over 35 years of experience as a physiotherapist, he has worked in the NHS for 18 years and a short spell in Swedish Health Service., after which he worked in industries (Mars, in Slough ) and privately, treating sports injuries, work related injuries, back pain, sciatica, Hamstrings strain, ankle , shoulder, soft tissue injuries and road traffic accidents.
